Quick hello!

I am currently starting second year of Architecture degree at Newcastle University. Since I was little I remember travelling to various destinations throughout the Europe. As a student myself I know the wanderlust most of us have while in uni. The photos of ours friends visiting exotic countries and the countless stories and memories the gap years guys are sharing make us want to take every  opportunity to see a little bit of the world.

As an architecture student, my main interest on a trip is pretty obvious. Catch as many examples of local architecture I can get on my camera. However I more then few times missed some opportunity simply because some places aren't advertised in typical guides. I mean sure we all want to see a place that is in every single photo from a particular city (yeah I am looking at you Eiffel Tower and Sagrada Familia) and there is nothing wrong with it. However, by focusing only on some of the most famous points in the city we can miss the true experiencing the city, the one that should satisfy our never-ending wanderlust, at least it satisfies mine.
